A 27-year-old Kailua woman was arrested last night on suspicion of attempted second-degree murder after she allegedly tried to run down her boyfriend with a car in the parking lot of a Kailua bar.

Police were told the woman and man were arguing at Porky's Sports Pub, at 32 Maluniu Ave., before the woman left on foot.

She returned with a car about 11:45 p.m.and rammed the boyfriend who was standing in the parking lot, police said.

The woman fled the scene, but was later located and arrested by police.

The man was transported to a hospital in serious condition, police said.
