An elderly man was critically injured tonight in a pedestrian accident in McCully.

The man, who appears to be in his 70s, was struck by a vehicle about 7:30 p.m. at McCully and Beretania streets.

He was taken in critical condition to a hospital, said Bryan Cheplic, spokesman for the city Department of Emergency Services.
