Hawaii Tourism Korea to publish second guidebook in May

Hawaii Tourism Korea said it is planning to publish the second edition of its Hawaii Travel Guidebook in May.
The Korean-language guide is considered the premier resource for Korean visitors on sights and attractions throughout the state.
Hawaii tourism industry officials are expecting significant growth in visitors from South Korea following the easing of visa restrictions last fall.
The number of Koreans visitors to Hawaii totaled 41,819 in 2007, up from 37,777 in 2006 and 30,000 in 2005.
Hawaii Tourism Korea is part of Hawaii Tourism Asia, which has been contracted by the Hawaii Tourism Authority to market Hawaii in Asia as a visitor destination.
