WAIMEA, Kauai — Starting today, the Waimea swimming pool will be closed for repairs over the next four days and will reopen on Saturday.

During the closure, some major work will be done, including: replacement of a malfunctioning motor; re-grouting and re-caulking; and repair of an automatic chlorine and acid dispenser.

The normal hours of operation of the pool are: Tuesday and Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; and Sunday, noon to 4:30 p.m.

The pool is closed on Mondays and holidays.
