DTRIC Insurance Company Ltd. has appointed Garret Yoshimi vice president and chief information officer.

HAWAI'I ALLIANCE OF NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS

The Hawai'i Alliance of Nonprofit Organizations has elected the following board members: Cheryl Kauhane Lupenui, president and CEO of the YWCA of O'ahu; Noelani Lee Yamashita, executive director of Ka Honua Momona International of Molokai; and Christopher Pablo, a partner in law firm Goodsill Anderson Quinn & Stifel.

Bella Pietra natural stone company has hired Stromberg Gaditano as purchaser. He will work with the company's controller, sales manager and owner to streamline the purchasing and ordering of materials. He was previously an assistant manager at Wal-Mart Inc.

BYU-HAWAII

Michael Johanson has succeeded Dr. Duane Roberts as director of communications and marketing at Brigham Young University Hawaii. Johanson most recently worked as a communications manager for a worldwide wellness products company.

HANDS-ON PHYSICAL THERAPY

Marit Johnson, a specialist in women's physical therapy and pelvic pain, has joined the staff of Hands-On Physical Therapy. She has extensive experience and is a triathlete and surfer.

PACIFIC BASIN COMMUNICATIONS

Helen McNeil has been named publisher of Island Family and Island Baby magazines, both newly acquired by Pacific Basin Communications.

She was formerly publisher of Hawai'i magazine.

ARCADIA

Arcadia has appointed Phillip Isaacs director of home- and community-based programs for its home care, home health and adult day programs.

UHA

University Health Alliance has promoted Linda Tidmore and Doreen Nakamura to supervisory positions.

Now underwriting supervisor, Tidmore will analyze proposal and rate renewal data, maintain group utilization reports, and help with annual rate filling for the Insurance Division.

Nakamura will be nurse administrator for the Health Care Services department, facilitating clinical issues, providing case management services to UHA members and overseeing case management services.

TD Food Group, owner/operator of the Hawaii Pizza Hut franchise, has announced a number of promotions: Francis Cortez, to restaurant general manager, Kawailani; Wade Hamamoto, to area general manager; Simon Lam, to restaurant general manager, Hawai'i Kai; Edward Lindstrom, to restaurant manager, Temple Valley; Darlene Pololu, to restaurant manager, Hale'iwa; Jose Marie Sacramento, to restaurant general manager, Enchanted Lake; Lynette Su'a, to restaurant manager, Aikahi; and Russell Takase, to restaurant manager, Windward City.
