A moped rider was injured today when he was struck by a truck on Kapi'olani Boulevard between Ward Avenue and Cooke Street.

The accident occurred about 4 p.m. Police were directing traffic around the accident site.

The moped driver was taken by ambulance to the hospital but police on the scene could not give details on the accident or the condition of the moped driver.
