Lisa Wai Hah Wong was crowned the 2009 Narcissus Queen last night at the Hawai'i Theatre.

Wong, 26, was born in San Francisco and graduated from 'Iolani School. She earned a degree in studio art from Wellesley College and currently works as a dental assistant; her goal is to follow in her father's footsteps and continue his practice.

Wong also won the pageant's Miss Talent award. Other honorees included first princess, Tina Ng; second princess, Dan Yuan; third princess, Kacie Pang; and fourth princess, Kristine Duong. Yuan also won Miss Popularity, and Pang was named Miss Congeniality.

The Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii's annual Narcissus Queen Pageant selects ambassadors for the chamber and the Chinese community in Hawai'i for a year's reign.

FERRELL BACK ON STAGE AS BUSH

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. — Will Ferrell says audiences should expect the unexpected from his upcoming one-man Broadway show and HBO special about George W. Bush.

Ferrell, known for his President Bush impersonation on "Saturday Night Live," said there's nothing derivative about the production. He says it will surprise people with what it has to say about Bush.

"Will Ferrell: You're Welcome America. A Final Night with George W. Bush" is set to begin previews Jan. 20 and open Feb. 5. It will air live on HBO March 14.

'MONK' ACTOR LOOKS TO MOVE ON

MILWAUKEE — Actor Tony Shalhoub says as much as he loves Adrian Monk, eight years portraying the obsessive-compulsive private investigator is eno-ugh for him.

The second half of "Monk's" seventh season began airing Friday on the USA Network, and shooting for the last season starts in March.

"It's a great job, and I work with great people, and I really enjoy doing the character, but I think eight years is enough," Shalhoub said by phone. "I think we've kind of explored all the avenues we could possibly cover ... I really do want to think about moving on to whatever the next chapter might be."

NO AUCTION ON 'IDOL'S' HOME

RALEIGH, N.C. — An attorney for a lending company says the auction of a million-dollar home belonging to "American Idol" winner Fantasia Barrino won't happen because an agreement has been reached.

Charlotte-based attorney Larry Goldman said yesterday in an e-mail to The Associated Press the two sides have worked out the matter. He did not immediately respond to a request for more details.

Goldman represents the Florida company that was trying to get the 2004 "American Idol" winner to repay money it loaned her in 2006 for tax payments on one of her homes in Charlotte, N.C.

R. KELLY, WIFE FINALIZE DIVORCE

NEW YORK — R. Kelly can officially bump and grind with whomever he chooses: He has finalized his divorce from his wife.

Kelly and his former wife, Andrea, confirmed they were officially divorced after 11 years of marriage.

Kelly — known for the hits "Bump N' Grind," "I Believe I Can Fly" and others — was acquitted of child pornography charges last year.
