LAST NIGHT, THE LIST OF SCHOOLS TO BE CLOSED INCLUDED:

  • All public schools except those on the Big Island

  • All public charter schools on O'ahu, plus: Kawaikini Charter School (Kaua'i); Ke Kula Ni'ihau o Kekaha Charter School (Kaua'i); and Kua 'o Ka La Charter School (Big Island)

  • All University of Hawai'i campuses except those on the Big Island

  • American Renaissance Academy

  • Angels at Play Preschool

  • Calvary by the Sea Montessori School

  • Central Union Preschool

  • The Children's House

  • Damien Memorial School

  • Hanalani School

  • Hawai'i Baptist Academy

    PROGRAM AVAILABLE FOR CHILDREN AGES 7-17:

    The Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii will open their clubhouses on O'ahu and Kaua'i for children who do not have school today. Sites will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nonmember parents or guardian may register on-site for a $1 fee. For information, call 949-4203.

  • TheBus: holiday schedule

  • TheBoat: canceled

  • Zipper Lane: not in use

  • O'ahu trash pickup: regular schedule

  • U.S. District Court: closed

  • State courts and Judiciary programs: closed except on Big Island

  • Veterans Affairs medical facilities: closed

  • State-run hospitals and clinics under the Hawai'i Health Systems Corp.: open
