Kahuku High alum Aaron Francisco, an Arizona Cardinals safety, provides insights as he prepares for the Super Bowl.

Tuesday's are normally a day off for NFL players but being a Super Bowl team, this day was reserved for the annual Super Bowl media day.

It is the one day media crews from everywhere have total access to the team for one hour to do interviews. I was told beforehand that it would be crazy but I had no idea it would be as crazy as it actually was today. It was a media frenzy! There were a wave of camera crews rushing down, literally tripping over steps in the stadium to get to us. I did interviews for Hawai'i, Utah, and even a Latino crew who were dying to know if I was Latino, which I found pretty amusing. It was so crazy there was even a male reporter dressed up as a woman, with red lipstick and everything.

He ... or she also interviewed me. Overall, it was a very fun and interesting session. Immediately following was our Super Bowl team pictures. We had the rest of the day off, which I used to get a workout in at the Buccaneers' facility. I also went to dinner and a movie with all the Poly boys on the team.

Aloha,

Aaron Francisco
