Japanese artist Yoshihiro Suda's delicate carved and painted wooden plant life will be on display at The Contemporary Museum from Saturday through Oct. 25.

Suda's scupltures include indigenous Japanese plants and flowers, including weeds, carved from magnolia wood and hand-painted with traditional Japanese pigments to replicate the originals.
