The Clarence T.C. Ching Foundation has given $35,000 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Hawaii to grant the wishes of five children with life-threatening medical conditions.

The mission of all chapters of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America is to grant wishes of children seriously ill children as a way of enriching their lives and give them hope, strength and joy.

The Ching Foundation gift is also in keeping with the charitable goals of that organization, which is to help the less fortunate and assist in the care of sick children.
