Woman arrested in Kalihi after attack on bus driver

Police last night arrested a 28-year-old homeless woman after she allegedly attacked a city bus driver in Kalihi.
The driver told police the woman became unruly and he told her to quiet down.
Once the bus came to a stop, the woman hit him twice in the head then got off the bus and ran.
Responding police officers found the woman nearby and arrested her at 555 N. King St. on suspicion of interfering with public transit operations.
The driver, 50, refused medical treatment at the scene.
