Starwood Hotels & Resorts Hawai'i recently promoted Angela Rodriguez and Sharon Duffin to the positions of field marketing managers.

Rodriguez began her career with Starwood as the regional communications coordinator and most recently served as advertising manager.

Duffin most recently served as a field marketing coordinator for Starwood. She was previously a sales and marketing coordinator at Starwood Hawai'i's regional office.

FAIRMONT KEA LANI

Juan Pablo Garcia-Neveu is the new director of group sales for the The Fairmont Kea Lani. He will oversee the luxury resort's group sales staff and work closely with its sister property, The Fairmont Orchid, on the Big Island. He was previously associate director of sales for Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa in New Mexico.

HEIDE & COOK

Heide & Cook Ltd., a mechanical contractor and air-conditioning service company, has hired Melissa Sekigawa as sales and marketing coordinator. Her responsibilities include coordinating and executing all sales, marketing and advertising plans for the firm, with emphasis on expanding business across Hawai'i. She was previously a credit counselor for Hawaiian Community Assets.

LANIHAU PROPERTIES

Lanihau Properties has appointed RILEY SMITH vice president of properties and Honokohau Development Project manager. A licensed professional engineer, he has nearly two decades of experience in land management, development planning, design and construction.
