Free health fair will offer screening, child physicals
Waikiki Health Center, the Hawai'i Air National Guard and Ohio Air National Guard will host a free health fair, including free medical screening, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at Hale'iwa Beach Park.
The National Guard partners with community groups to provide service to the medically underserved areas and train their personnel as part of the Hawaii Medical Innovative Readiness Training project, called E Malama Kakou, or to care for all.
Medical personnel on Sunday will conduct screenings for high blood pressure, vision, dental, diabetes and skin cancer. Children's school and sports physicals will also be conducted.
