The Cleveland Browns have signed linebacker Kaluka Maiava, a fourth-round draft pick from Southern Cal.
Maiava, a Baldwin High alum, reported for the first day of Cleveland's rookie training camp yesterday. A second-team All-Pac 10 selection as a senior, Maiava had 66 tackles and an interception last season.
The Browns have signed four of the eight members of their rookie class. They are still in talks with first-round pick, center Alex Mack. He arrived in Cleveland yesterday but cannot participate in the team's rookie camp until he is signed.
The Browns veterans are required to report July 31.
