Youth baseball: Arabian American team nabs berth to LLWS

SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — Make it 10 straight appearances at the Little League World Series for the team from Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
Their Arabian American Little League squad became the latest team to qualify for this year's tournament, which begins Aug. 21 in South Williamsport. A team from Saudi Arabia has never won the big prize.
They join teams from Japan, Curacao, Taiwan and Venezuela as international participants, with three more international berths still to be decided.
Qualifying tournaments for the eight U.S. berths wrap up in the next few weeks.
