Victorino leaves game with strained left hip

SAN DIEGO — Philadelphia Phillies center fielder Shane Victorino left Wednesday night's game against San Diego with a strained left hip.
He will be reevaluated on Friday before the Phillies open a four-game series at the Los Angeles Dodgers. Victorino left after the top of the sixth inning. He was replaced by Jayson Werth.
Victorino is a St. Anthony High alum from Wailuku, Maui.
