MLB: Tigers' Cabrera leaves game with pulled hamstring
Associated Press
DETROIT — Miguel Cabrera has left the Detroit Tigers' game against the Boston Red Sox with a left hamstring injury.
Cabrera pulled up while running from first to second on Curtis Granderson's second-inning single during Thursday's game. He stayed in after an examination by the training staff, but was obviously struggling when coming home to score on Brandon Inge's double.
Jeff Larish replaced him at first base in the third inning.
Cabrera was batting .351 with 10 home runs and 38 RBIs.
