A paddle boarder who was reported missing this afternoon has been found safe, HFD said.

HFD Capt. Robert Main said the woman was part of a group that left Hawaii Kai heading for Waikiki.

She lost contact with her group and was reported missing at 2:09 p.m. Main said HFD and lifeguards searched for the woman, but she came ashore on her own at 2:45 p.m. near the Natatorium.
