State's flags will be lowered to half-staff for Thomas Gill
Gov. Linda Lingle has ordered the lowering of state flags to half-staff today in honor of Thomas Gill.
Gill, a former U.S. representative and Hawai'i lieutenant governor, died June 3 at the age of 87.
Gill is survived by his wife Lois; sons Thomas Anthony, Eric, Ivan, Timothy and Gary; daughter Andrea; brother Lorin; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Public services for Gill have not yet been announced.
