MLB: Tigers place Willis on DL with anxiety disorder

ST. LOUIS — The Detroit Tigers have placed struggling left-hander Dontrelle Willis on the 15-day disabled list with an anxiety disorder.
The move happened Thursday before the Tigers' game in St. Louis. The team plans to recall right-hander Alfredo Figaro from Triple-A Toledo on Saturday to fill Willis' turn in the rotation against the Brewers. Figaro will be making his major league debut.
Willis is 1-4 with a 7.49 ERA. He walked eight in 3 2-3 innings in a loss at Pittsburgh on Sunday and has walked 18 in 11 innings over his last three starts.
The move came the same day the Cardinals recalled infielder Khalil Greene from the 15-day DL for social anxiety disorder.
