Police seek public's help in finding 2 assault suspects

Big Island police are asking the public's help in finding two men wanted for questioning in separate assault investigations.

Noah A.K. Dawson, 32, is sought in connection with an assault on May 16 in Puna. He is also wanted on an outstanding bench warrant. He is described as 5-feet-6 and about 190 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo on the left side of his neck.

Charles N. Ishii, 23, is sought in connection with an assault in Hilo on June 4. He is described as 5-feet-6 and 170 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He has numerous tattoos on his arms.

Police ask that anyone with information on the whereabouts of either man call Detective Rio Amon-Wilkins at 961-2386 or the police department's non-emergency line at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
