BARTLESVILLE, Okla. (AP) — The wife of Connors State College baseball coach Perry Keith has been banned from the team's games next year after allegedly assaulting two umpires.
Sheri Keith is charged in Washington County District Court with two counts of misdemeanor assault.
She has pleaded not guilty.
She's accused of going into the umpires' locker room after Connors lost to Eastern Oklahoma State College at a regional junior college tournament on May 9.
An affidavit in the case says she began hitting one umpire then grabbed a second around the throat and began scratching his arms and face.
