MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Memphis Grizzlies waived Adonal Foyle on Sunday.
The 6-10, 270-pound center arrived in Memphis as part of a three-way trade last month from Orlando for a 2009 first-round draft pick.
Grizzlies general manager Chris Wallace says the team reached a buyout agreement with Foyle on Sunday.
Foyle appeared briefly for the Grizzlies in a game on Feb. 24 at Cleveland.
The Feb. 19 trade also brought guard Mike Wilks to Memphis, and the Houston Rockets acquired guard Kyle Lowry and forward Brian Cook. Rafer Alston was sent to Orlando.
