Oahu home sales, median price fall in January from year ago

The Honolulu Board of Realtors today said sales of existing single-family homes last month fell 21 percent to 129, and the median price declined 8 percent to $555,000 from the same month last year.
Condominium sales fell 50 percent to 160, and the median price declined 11 percent to $297,000.
For the first two months of the year, the median single-family home price is down 8 percent, while the condo price is down 9 percent.
