Tree cleared, Tantalus Drive reopened to traffic

Tantalus Drive has been reopened to traffic, police said.

A 12- to 15-foot tall tree toppled over prior to 3:45 early this morning, blocking traffic in both directions.

The tree fell near the area where Tantalus Drive intersects with Round Top Drive.

Police announced about 9:15 a.m. that the road has been reopened.
