NFL: Vikings re-sign CB Sapp

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — The Minnesota Vikings have re-signed cornerback Benny Sapp to a one-year contract.
Sapp came over last offseason from the Kansas City Chiefs, earning a reputation as an aggressive, risk-taking player. He spent most of his time at nickel back after Charles Gordon went down with an ankle injury against Green Bay in November.
Sapp is a sixth-year player out of Iowa. This year, he had a career-high two interceptions and finished with 22 tackles.
