College: Clemson reports 6 NCAA violations
Associated Press
COLUMBIA, S.C. — Clemson has reported six NCAA violations during an eight-month period ending in February.
The athletic department said in a report Friday that all the infractions were considered secondary. Twice a year, Clemson details such violations because of Freedom of Information Act requests by The Associated Press and other media outlets.
The sports, coaches, administrators and athletes involved were not named in Clemson's report.
The only violation classified as a more serious Level I infraction took place last November and involved a Clemson administrator receiving a picture and note in the mail and showed impermissible face-to-face contact.
The assistant coach received a letter of reprimand and can't recruit off campus for 15 days in the fall and the spring.
