Stylishly sustainable at Waterfront
| |||
The NightMarket@AlohaTower, held every third Wednesday of the month, showcases a sustainable Hawai'i through local food, fashion, art, music, culture and cutting-edge technology. This week's event — 5 to 11 p.m. Wednesday at The Waterfront at Aloha Tower — includes a "Trash to Treasure" fashion show by a design team from the University of Hawai'i and hair and makeup by Ulupono Academy, which raises money for several nonprofit community organizations. "Ground UP movement," an international art collective with local roots, will also be part of the mix with live artist installations, musicians and deejays. Details: e-mail info@eventsint.com or call 545-5900, ext. 4.
