Bernard Punikai'a memorial service set for April 1

A memorial service and celebration of life for Bernard Punikai'a will be held at 5:30 p.m. April 1 at the University of Hawai'i's Newman Center.
Punikai'a, who suffered from Hansen's disease, was a longtime resident of Kalaupapa, Moloka'i, who fought for the rights of others afflicted with the disease. He died Feb. 25.
