'Animation' exhibit extends stay at Bishop Museum

Bishop Museum is extending its popular "Animation" exhibit two through May 25, two weeks longer than the planned engagement.
The exhibit opened to the public on February 14 and remains on display in the Castle Memorial Building.
It explores the history of animation and features a screening room and a cartoon museum.
The exhibit has been popular for families, not only because it is interactive, but also because it allows visitors to explore animation from concept to finished product — from storyboarding, character design, and drawing techniques to movement, timing, filming, and sound.
