LOS ANGELES — Bring on the bulls!
Russia's Oksana Domnina and Maxim Shabalin did matadors everywhere proud with a sharp and aggressive paso doble Tuesday, winning the compulsory dance to take the early lead at the world figure skating championships. Tanith Belbin and Ben Agosto, skating in their first competition since Agosto injured his back, were second with reigning world silver medalists Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir third.
U.S. champions Meryl Davis and Charlie White are fourth. The audience didn't agree with the placement, booing when their marks were posted.
The original dance is Thursday, the free dance on Friday.
