IRVING, Texas — The Dallas Cowboys' special teams coach is set to undergo surgery on a fractured cervical vertebrae suffered in the weekend collapse of the team's practice facility.

Joe DeCamillis, 43, was one of three Cowboys staff members still in the hospital Monday. The Cowboys didn't immediately return a call regarding whether his surgery had begun yet early Monday.

The tent-like facility collapsed under high winds Saturday, injuring 12. The others hospitalized include scouting assistant Rich Behm, 33, who was paralyzed from the waist down after his spine was severed. Assistant athletic trainer Greg Gaither, 35, had surgery to repair a fracture to the tibia and fibula in his right leg. He was expected to be released later this week.
