Ask any mom. The best gifts — ever — are the ones made with little hands and big hearts.

The lopsided clay vase. The crayon scribbling of a train — or was that a dog? Even the Spiderman drawing.

Among Janice Choi's favorite gifts is a handprint ceramic paperweight made by her daughter, Haley, two years ago when she was in kindergarten.

"I love handprints," said Choi, 45, of Kahala. "They are keepsakes, for sure."

What could be more "awww"-inspiring than gifts made by wee ones who love moms most?

Here's a sampling of our readers' favorite handmade, from-the-heart treasures.

Happy Mother's Day!
