MANCHESTER, England — The world’s fastest man is helping the world soccer champions over the line in the Premier League title race.
Olympic triple gold medalist Usain Bolt will appear on Manchester United’s pitch at halftime Saturday as the team goes in search of the point it needs against Arsenal that will clinch a third English title in a row.
United told The Associated Press that the 100- and 200-meter record holder is dropping in on a training session Friday.
While Bolt won’t get to race against his favorite star, FIFA player of the year Cristiano Ronaldo, the Jamaican will be competing for the first time in Europe this year on Sunday in central Manchester.
Bolt will return to the track after his recent car crash by running a 150 meter street race.
