OWINGS MILLS, Md. — The Baltimore Ravens have signed veteran free agent wide receiver Kelley Washington to a one-year contract.
He was acquired Monday after trying out at a recent minicamp where the team also auditioned Jerry Porter and Tab Perry.
A former third-round draft pick, Washington played for Ravens quarterbacks coach Hue Jackson when he was coaching the Cincinnati Bengals receivers.
In six NFL seasons, Washington has caught 73 passes for 896 yards and nine touchdowns.
The Ravens also released wide receiver Marcus Maxwell.
