Kaiser Permanente Hawaii wins environmental award
Kaiser Permanente Hawaii has won an Environmental Excellence Award from Practice Greenhealth, an organization devoted to environmentally responsible healthcare.
The awards are given to institutions within the healthcare sector for outstanding programs to reduce the facility's environmental footprint.
Six major health systems, including Kaiser’s parent, Kaiser Permanente of Oakland, California received the System for Change award. The award recognizes health systems that are working cohesively to gather data, set system goals, benchmark, and share successes in environmental performance.
