MIAMI BEACH, Fla. — The Kardashian sisters were all smiles as they flirted with snapping cameras during the grand opening of their new luxury boutique in Miami Beach, although it had just been vandalized the day before.
The reality TV beauties — Kim, Khloe and Kourtney — said Wednesday night at the Clevelander hotel that they were very excited about “getting started” on their new store, Dash Miami.
A section of the front window of the store was scratched Tuesday and the letters “GUK” were painted in black on the window frame, a Miami Beach Police Department spokeswoman told the Associated Press. It’s not clear what the letters might mean and police say they are investigating the incident.
On her Web site, Kourtney, 30, said nothing was stolen from the store, and that the graffiti wasn’t targeting her or her sisters.
“We’re just trying to focus on our move to Miami, our new employees, our merchandise at the store, and on the new show,” the oldest sister said.
The reality show, “Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami” chronicles the adventures of the two sisters during their stay in the magic city. Kim, 28, will hold down the fort of their flagship store in Calabasas, Calif.
“I’m so jealous that I have to leave my sisters in Miami. It’s my favorite town ever,” said the recent contestant on ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars.”
“So, I’m a little jealous right now.”
The daughters of late L.A. attorney Robert Kardashian, who already star in the popular E! reality show “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” say Miami’s “sexiness” will be enough to make the new show a big hit.
“There is so much of a sexier vibe here. Miami really is just going to make our show so much better,” Khloe, 24, said. “I think it’s going to make it a whole different show, and bring so much sexiness to it.”
The new reality show is set to air in August.
