The 2009 Neighborhood Boards election has entered the final 24 hours of the voting period, the city said today.
Voting ends tomorrow at midnight.
This year, the election was conducted using the Internet as the primary method of casting ballots, with an automated phone system as an alternative for those without Internet access.
Eligible voters were mailed 9-digit passcodes the first week of May. These passcodes, along with the last four digits of a voter’s Social Security number, allowed voters to access their ballot through either method.
Results of the election will be publicized May 26. The new board members assume office on July 1.
