The man who died when the tractor trailer he was driving overturned on the Ewa off-ramp of H-1 Freeway Sunday had a blood-alcohol level of nearly four times the legal limit, according to the city medical examiner’s office.

Russell Fox, 51, was pronounced dead at the scene of the noon accident. A 12-year-old boy who was in the truck was seriously injured.
The medical examiner said that Fox had a blood-alcohol level of 0.313, or nearly four times the legal limit of 0.08 for operating a vehicle. In addition to the alcohol, police said they believe speed was a factor in the crash.
