OUTLOOK: A 19-13 record at home isn't the most convincing, as far as home-field advantage. Despite playing the most challenging nonconference schedule among WAC teams, the Rainbows were about even against WAC competition. Once the WAC season started the Rainbows played well or really bad. But they have played with level demeanor, having bounced back from devastating losses (both lopsided and close games) with wins. Unlike previous UH teams, this one has pop, setting a school record with 63 home runs. For the first time in UH history, it has more than two players with double-digit home runs.
