Moms and kids alike have new opportunities to find friends and fun now that some www.HawaiiMomsLikeMe.com members are organizing weekly outings.

Every Wednesday morning through June, some moms with kids are planning beach outings.

On Thursdays, more than a dozen moms have been regularly taking their keiki to Central O'ahu Regional Park.

And on Fridays, some are meeting at a Ko Olina beach for exercise and a keiki playdate.

Anyone registered on www.HawaiiMomsLikeMe.com is invited to join in. Getting involved is simple: Become a registered user on www.Hawaii.MomsLikeMe.com. Then click on the pink Discussions tab at the top of any page on the Web site and scroll down to the forum called "Mommy Meet-Ups — Hawaii." Click on it, and when you find the discussion thread for the event you're interested in, post a reply there, so the organizers know you're coming.
