NEW YORK� Yankees fans in New York City are reveling in the team�s 27th World Series championship.

Hundreds watched the Yankees� Game 6 victory Wednesday at Stout, a sports bar near Madison Square Garden in Manhattan.
The three-level bar was packed with fans in Yankees jerseys and hats hanging on every pitch as they watched on the bar�s flat-screen televisions.
Yankees fans, including visitors from as far away as San Diego, enjoyed the outcome.
Hideki Matsui�s record-tying six RBIs helped the Yankees to the 7-3 win over the Philadelphia Phillies. New York won the series 4-2.
Fans had waited nine years since the team�s last World Series win, a Subway Series against their cross-town rivals, the Mets, in 2000.
