Big Island police are asking for the public's help in finding a missing 15-year-old Hilo girl.

Meghan Olcott was last seen leaving her home about 10 p.m. Sunday. Her family said she has not been heard from since.

Olcott is 5 feet 5 and 128 pounds, with red hair and blue eyes. She wears braces with orange rubber tension bands on her teeth.

She was last seen wearing shorts, blue Teva footwear and a gray hooded sweatshirt with "Washington D.C." printed on the front.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call Officer Nicole Leyson at 935-3311, or Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona.
