FBI to hand out child ID kits at UH game
Representatives from the Honolulu FBI field office announced today they will be handing out 4,000 child identification kits at the University of Hawaii vs. New Mexico State football game on Saturday.
FBI employees will be present at each stadium entrance when the gates open at 3:30 p.m. prior to the 5:05 p.m. kickoff. Child ID kits will be distributed to parents for the collection of DNA and fingerprints of their children. When the parent and child complete their kit, the parents will maintain possession the kit. In the unlikely event that their child goes missing, parents can then provide the kits to authorities to assist in recovering the missing child.
There will be around 20 FBI employees and FBI family member volunteers handing out the kits at the game.
