'Friends & Nabors' lineup announced

Jim Nabors will return to the Hawaii Theatre with the popular “A Merry Christmas with Friends & Nabors,” Nov. 27-29.
Nabors, who last presented the show in 2006, returns with a new lineup. Burton White directs the presentation, which features guest stars Jimmy Borges, Phillip Huber & The Huber Marionettes, Karen Keawehawaiçi, Guy Merola, and Emma Veary.
The music of Matt Catingub and the Hawaii Theatre Orchestra will be featured in the show.
The presentation welcomes new faces to the stage, including many local singers and performers. Featured guest artists include the debut of the Hawaii Theatre Ensemble Singers featuring George Benevente, Katie Doyle, Cathy Foy‐Mahi, Lea Woods Friedman, Tricia Marciel, Matthew Pennaz, Elitei Tatafu and Jimi Wheeler. Sugarplums will dance with Snowbird Bento’s Ka Pa Hula Ka Lei Lehua providing hula stylings; and Honolulu’s premiere kid corp, the Diamond Head Theatre Shooting Stars singing, marching, and tapping. The La Pietra Select Choir will also make a return to the vocal corps.
Tickets are on sale now at the Hawaii Theatre Box Office, starting at $25.
Shows are set for 7:30 p.m. Nov. 27-28, and 2 p.m. Nov. 29. In addition, active military and their families to are invited to a special preview performance at a reduced price at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 25.
