Woman confesses to 2007 Hawaii Kai burglary
A 30-year-old woman was arrested Wednesday in connection with a burglary that occurred in Hawaii Kai almost two years ago.
A 58-year-old man reported that his home was broken into on Dec. 22, 2007, and his personal property taken.
Police said the man believed at the time that the woman who was arrested committed the crime and confronted her two years later, at which point the woman confessed.
Pawn tickets showed the stolen property was pawned on the same day it was stolen, police said.
The woman was arrested on suspicion of first-degree burglary.
