Woman arrested in suspected theft of merchandise in Pearl City

A 45-year-old woman was arrested Saturday on suspicion of theft and other counts in Pearl City.
According to a police report:
The woman was observed concealing merchandise at a Pearl City store at 2:35 p.m. Saturday. When confronted by a security guard, she became combative and abusive. She fled, but security personnel got her license plate number and called police.
The woman was found and arrested.
The security guard declined medical treatment.
