Adult Friends for Youth will hold its 23rd annual Celebration of Youth event Friday evening at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel Ballroom.
The dinner-auction event is a fundraiser to help Hawaii’s high-risk youth pursue education goals at both high school and college levels.
Among the auction items is an Wayne Gretzky captain’s ice hockey jersey — autographed and framed. Another auction offering for the sports fan: a dining experience with the University of Hawaii’s Basketball Team’s 1970s era “Fabulous 5,” Davis-Freeman-Holiday-Nash-Penebacker.
Tickets to the fundraiser are $250 for individuals and $2500 for tables of 10.
Entertainment will feature comedian Frank De Lima and singer Jordan Segund .
