Donato Loperfido, formerly of Donato's and 'Elua, is launching a new venture soon, Sapor Enoteca and Birreria, a wine and beer bar.

The new spot will be in an old familiar spot: the one formerly occupied by 'Elua (and L'Uraku before it) at 1341 Kapiolani Blvd.
Partnering with Loperfido is wine expert and Advertiser columnist Cynthia Fenner, formerly wine specialist for Neiman Marcus here.
Sapor will serve small plates by Donato with wine pairings and wine and beer flights as well. There will be late-night dining and live jazz.
Opening date is not yet determined.
